The Headless Horseman — Moonlit Edition takes the legendary rider into the shadows of the American West—a spectral horseman charging out of the darkness beneath the cold glow of moonlight, with one small jack-o'-lantern burning warm in his hand.

Rendered in icy blue-gray tones with an eerie illuminated edge, the Horseman and his mount appear almost to emerge from the shirt itself, while the glowing orange pumpkin provides the only warmth in the scene. It's spooky. It's Western. And apparently, even a headless cowboy needs a little light to find the trail home.

THE MOONLIT EDITION

Unlike our antique, single-color Sepia Edition, the Moonlit Edition uses a cool, multi-tone treatment created specifically for darker garments.

The pale spectral highlights and subtle glow contrast against the shirt while the darker portions of the illustration disappear naturally into the fabric—giving the rider the appearance of materializing from the night.

Available in:

Midnight — the signature Moonlit color; deep blue gives the artwork the feeling of riding through a nighttime sky.

Grape — dusty purple adds a distinctly haunted, atmospheric Fall character without becoming overly bright or novelty-Halloween.

Black — the darkest and most dramatic option, with maximum contrast between the spectral highlights and the garment.

Pepper — a weathered charcoal gray that gives the Moonlit artwork a softer, smoky quality, allowing the ghostly blue-gray highlights to emerge naturally from the garment.

The artwork remains the same across all four, including the warm jack-o'-lantern accent that ties the front to the Halloween message on the back.

The back finishes the story with bold Western typography, a touch of haunted Victorian character, and a cream-to-pumpkin-orange color transition inspired by the glowing jack-o'-lantern on the front. It's our little reminder that even on the darkest trail... Halloween is supposed to be fun.
